Dinner Theatre A Huge Success

The Georgia Peach Festival and the Fort Valley Arts Alliance presented “I’m Getting Murdered in the Morning,” a hilarious murder mystery play set as a wedding reception at the Austin Theater Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008. The event was a rousing success and a solid fund-raiser for the festival. A second performance was required to accommodate the crowds.

The bride is an over the top spoiled rich kid and the groom is a good old small town guy. Enjoy all the usual wedding reception rituals, including an obnoxious DJ, the bouquet toss, garter toss, the first dance , and of course, wedding cake.

Celebrity waiters included Rich Bennett, Mike Brennan, Bryant Culpepper, Vicky Davis, Paul and Delise Knight, Ralph and Kathy Lambert, Martha MCAfee, Jarrett and Ellen Reagan and Dr. Larry Rivers

The event was a fundraiser for the Georgia Peach Festival and included a preview of all the exciting events upcoming in the 2008 Georgia Peach Festival.
